Sheikh Jayed Bin Sultan AL Nahyan Trust ( Bangladesh )
AL-Nahyan Trust (Bangladesh) is a non governmental organization under the Ministry of Social Welfare dealing with humane resource development, welfare-development, poverty alleviation, education, empowerment of the orphans and destitute segment of people.

The then president  of the United Arab Emirates, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan has visited Bangladesh in May’ 1984 and expressed his desire to help the orphans of Bangladesh. As a result, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan Trust (Bangladesh) was founded as a token of the Sultan’s deep sympathy and profound realization for the welfare of the destitute Children and the Orphans. As a result, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan Trust (Bangladesh) has started functioning in 1987. Two orphanages are now being run by the Trust-one at Mirpur and the other at Lalmonirhat. The sanctioned strength of these orphanages is for 400 inmates. The inmates receive education and vocational training for their future rehabilitation. The source to bear the expenses of the organization is the income from UAE Moitry Shopping and Housing Complex, Banani, Dhaka.
